Mission Statement
Caring for cats and the people who love them. That's what we're about. This includes the best possible medical care, good nursing care and lots of attention when they are in the hospital. Our staff strives to be compassionate with all our clients and understand each owner's unique situation and relationship with their cat. Good communication between staff and clients helps us do the very best for your cat.
Pet Health & Safety
To insure the health and safety of all our boarding guests, we insist that pets with overdue vaccines receive them on arrival. Because we are a veterinary hospital we can handle medical problem that may occur. Clients are billed at the regular rate for these services. We will make every effort to contact you if any medical problems occur while you are away.
Fees

Our fees are set in accordance with the level of service and professionalism that we provide for clients and patients. Fees are due and payable upon presentation. For your convenience we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Although we will provide you with a written estimate, it is just that. An estimate of what our experience tells us will cost to provide the services you have agreed that we perform. In cases where an emergency situation presents itself we will provide the level of care that you have indicated you wish us to provide. This may incur additional charges. We will endeavor to contact you as soon as possible to determine your wishes.

We do not offer open charge accounts except as authorized by the attending Doctor. In these extreme cases, payment arrangements must be made and paid within 30 days. Accounts over 30 days will be charged interest at the current commercial rate. Accounts beyond 60 days will be sent to collection.

We do offer access to "Care Credit" which can assist clients in difficult circumstances. Please be aware that the "no interest" option is not available, as we would have to raise fees in order to offer it. 



NOTICE FROM THE CAT DOCTOR WEBMASTER We're sorry, but PLEASE do not write Dr. McFarland asking for a diagnosis of your cat's problem. She cannot respond. In the opinion of Dr. McFarland, it is not responsible to diagnose feline illnesses via the Internet. PLEASE go to your local veterinarian who can diagnose hands-on to provide you with what your cat needs. If you have a suggestion as to the form or content of these web pages or are interested in advertising on these pages, please address them to the WebMaster, The Cat Doctor.
